Desafio Adventure Company is a travel agency / tour operator with offices in Monteverde Costa Rica and Arenal Costa Rica.  We provide booking services and information in our capacity as a travel agency.  Desafio also operates a number of adventure tours, including: white water rafting and kayaking, canyoneering and horseback riding.  Desafio has been operating in Costa Rica since 1992.

   The company is a pioneer in the rafting of new rivers in the Arenal Volcano vicinity.  Desafio has made a name for itself by running a responsible and quality stable providing excellent riding tours.  Desafio is owned by Suresh Krishnan and Christina Larson.  The Monteverde office is managed by Janet Ellis.  Desafio employees over a dozen people, all Costa Rican, or residents of Costa Rica.

   Our office in the town of La Fortuna is located behind the church, downtown.  Our Monteverde office is located in front of the supermarket in Santa Elena.  If your in the neighborhood feel free to stop by. We are happy to provide you with a map, answer any questions you might have, or just chat.  At our offices you will also find Internet access, a book exchange and a wealth of information, published in brochures and thru our own collected binders of info.
