The paint has not yet dried on this brand new hotel. Excellent volcano views, pool, restaurant, and low rates make Arenal Volcano Inn a great deal. The owners are a partnership of four, all previous hotel owners, their combined experience will make Arenal Volcano Inn a pleasant stay.
 

   The rooms are exquisite, reminiscent of Italian villas with stone floors and stucco walls painted in classic colors. Each room has two queen sized beds, carefully chosen paintings, fresh flowers, cable TV, and a basic kitchenette (mini refrigerator, coffee maker and breakfast counter with sink). Although the bathrooms in the larger cabins will probably be found most striking. Here skylights illuminate spacious European bathtubs and the Zen-like gardens that run alongside them.

A large pool and Jacuzzi have terrific volcano views. The landscaping will take some time to grow in, but by the holidays of 2006 the hotel should have a greener feel.
