Hotel & Resort Lavas Tacotal - Arenal Costa Rica
This luxury hotel is
particularly close to the volcano, offering views of volcano
activity day or night, and is a short drive away from the
Tabacon Resort Hot Springs. Rooms offer a comfortable place to
sleep with a balcony or porch to watch the nighttime
pyrotechnics on a clear night. All rooms are fairly new with
thirty of the rooms opened in spring of 2005 and the older
rooms all less than two years old.
Junior suites have one king bed,
boasting volcano views from the bed, as well as, air
conditioning, cable television, a bathtub with water jet
massage, mini bar and small TV lounge.
Each standard room has the capacity to
sleep four people, offering two double beds, and sometimes an
additional single. Standard rooms also include air
conditioning, cable television, in room telephones and private
bathrooms with hot water. Rooms also include coffeemakers hair
dryers and safe. Wooden chairs and a wooden table adorn the
small porch.
The thirty newest hotel additions are
poorly oriented, making volcano views not visible from the
rooms, although you can enjoy some of the most spectacular
volcano views in the area from every other point on the
property.
