Hotel Sueno Dorado is located right near the famous Baldi Hot Springs about 10 minutes from the town of La Fortuna, with all the facilities associated with a small tourist and agricultural area.
El Sueno Dorado is managed by the friendly Felix, who is also a guide in the Arenal Volcano area and is an endless source of information. You’ll find Felix doing the garden, helping in the kitchen and reception and taking people on guided hikes. A man of many talents!
The hotel has recently completed 12 rooms to add to the existing ones which haven been renovated. This is an economy hotel and the rooms are without frills but they are clean and comfortable with a/c. If having a comfortable base to explore the surrounding area is important rather than an expensive resort, than Hotel Sueno Dorado is perfect.
The Sueno Dorado also has a small restaurant and a swimming pool with views of Arenal Volcano and plenty of parking.
There are double rooms and family rooms. All have a porch with great views of the volcano.
