Ferns, heliconias, birds of paradise and many other varieties of Costa Rica flora, as well Arenal Volcano views make rocking on the porch or sitting poolside a nice way to pass the time.
The midrange price is ideal for many families; it includes private parking, cable TV, air conditioning, and private bath with hot water. Hotel La Pradera also has a restaurant, bar and Internet service available on the property.
Fortunately, for those without cars Hotel La Pradera is only a kilometer and a half to the town of La Fortuna, though it is worth mentioning that the road is not the most pleasant for walking! The hotel is only a few minutes away from the hot springs and overall the hotel's location and price, plus volcano views and pool, make it a good value place to stay.
