Mambo Combo is an excellent full-day adventure tour combination with a canyoneering tour (canyoning) and a class 2-3 white water rafting rafting tour. It is safe and fun for most physically fit people - no experience needed just good sense of adventure!

TOUR DESCRIPTON: The canyoneering takes place in the Lost Canyon - an incredible canyon just 15 minutes from La Fortuna with great views of Arenal Volcano and EIGHT amazing tropical waterfalls (5 of which you will rappel down). Two of the waterfalls are more than 50 meters high! During the rafting you will be given a snack.
After the canyoneering you will head off for a trip on one of Costa Rica’s most-beautiful class 2-3 rivers. Challenge yourself as you paddle through fun & safe rolling rapids with names like “Morning Coffee” & “Rock around the Croc” and then play around in tranquil river pools in an isolated rainforest river canyon!
Your professional, experienced bilingual guides will give you a safety talk and paddling instruction, lifejackets, helmets & then you’re off. During the tour, along the river banks, wildlife is often spotted including monkeys, sloths and tropical birds such as ospreys, oropendolas and toucans. This unique river trip is the best way to combine adventure and nature. A fruit and water break will be given during a break from rafting and after the trip we'll set off for a delicious home made lunch.
Price: US$150 per person with transport, top-of-the line name brand equipment, very professional and entertaining guides, fruit break and the famous Desafio home-cooked lunch!
What to bring: A big smile, sense of adventure, secure shoes (tennis shoes or sports sandals Keen or Teva-style) clothes to get wet in & change of clothes for after the tour.
We provide: transport to/from your hotel, professional & very fun, bilingual guides; high-quality, brand-name equipment; gloves & water.
We’ll treat you to a snack, a buffet of tropical fruit, plus our famous home-cooked Rainforest Lunch and local drinks.

Recommended for ages 13-55. Note for children under 13 it might be possible to arrange a special personal guide to enable them to go – this would be $25 extra.
