Guided Tours of Arenal Volcano Costa Rica

Arenal Volcano Guided Hike.....hike through lush rainforest near Arenal Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide you will safely explore primary and secondary rainforest and the animals and plants that live there. On the trail is a volcano observation point that offers the nearest possible observation point at the base of Arenal Volcano. After enjoying the sunset the view becomes even more awesome when on clear nights you can see the lava flow of Central America's most-active volcano and if you're lucky, you may be able to hear the eruption or the thuds as large lava rocks come tumbling down the side of cone shaped Arenal Volcano.

Arenal Volcano Hiking Tour Departs at 3:30pm 

The guided Arenal Volcano tour lasts one and a half; to two hours at an easy hike (there are some muddy sections and a little uphill). Included on the tour: bilingual guide, transportation, entrance to private reserve and Arenal Volcano viewpoint with beverages.

Guided Arenal Volcano Night Hike Ends 5:30-6.00 pm. Option to transfer to Hot Springs:

For those who wish to continue enjoying the benefits of a highly volcanic setting the tour continues on to a choice of one of three of the thermal hot springs in the area: Baldi Hot Springs, Tabacon Resort and the new favorite luxurious 'The Springs Resort' Los Perdidos Hot Springs.

1) Baldi Hot Springs where on a clear night you will get an outstanding view of Arenal Volcano by night. Baldi Hot Springs is located in a beautiful location where you can sit and soak and enjoy tropical gardens and steamy nights. The Springs offer restaurants, swim-up bars, changing rooms and lockers, spa, massages, several different temperature hot springs, natural pools, waterfalls, and swimming pools.

Price per person for the hike only: US$39
(includes guide,transport and entrance to look-out). 

Price for the Liquid Lava Volcano Hike and Baldi Hot Springs: $59
(includes bilingual guide for the hike, entrance to the look-out point, entrance to the Baldi Springs and all transport to and from your hotel). Return approx 9.00pm to hotel.

Price for the Liquid Lava Volcano Hike and Baldi Hot Springs PLUS dinner: $79

2. Tabacon Hot Springs

We can also arrange this tour with Tabacon Hot Spring but there are often difficulties in acquiring reservations at Tabacon Hot Springs and we can not supply the transport after the hot springs (Tabacon can call you a taxi from the exit of the hot spings). The entrance to Tabacon includes an evening meal.

(includes bilingual guide for the hike, entrance to the look-out point, entrance to Tabacon Hot Springs and Evening Buffet and transport for the Volcano Hike part of the tour and drop off at the Hot Springs, but no return taxi).

3. The Springs Resort (Los Perdidos)

New!!!! We now offer a fabulous new Hot Springs called 'The Springs'. This is less crowded, very luxurious and has great views of Arenal Volcano. It is slightly further out than the other hot springs but the views are worth it!
